PAF is an interdisciplinary festival featuring music, theatre, art and literature, gathering artists from Montenegro and the region.
Created as an authentic art zone which will gather musicians, actors, directors, painters, designers, writers, publishers and, of course, varied audiences, PAF enriches both local and national cultural scene.
PAF features three segments: Open Scene, Open Gallery and Razbooktavanje.
OPEN SCENE – Created for the performances of musicians, bands, actors, screenings of student films and shows. This PAF segment is located at the plateau between the Capital City building and Montenegrin National Theatre, at the stage which was also home to several recognized regional artists.
OPEN GALLERY – Space intended primarily for the students of Faculty of Fine Arts Cetinje, Faculty of Visual Arts and Faculty of Architecture serves young artists from Montenegro in their presentation of works to the visitors during the whole duration of the Festival.
RAZBOOKTAVANJE – This segment features two parts: OLD AND SECOND-HAND BOOKS FAIR and BOOK ZONE.
-OLD AND SECOND-HAND BOOKS FAIR includes organization of a small fair of old and second-hand books in Bokeska street, at a designated and specifically designed space. It is the first and only fair of second-hand books organized in the Capital which includes the participation of recognized Montenegrin publishers and bookstores.
– BOOK ZONE, new PAF segment, includes litarary program of the Festival. It opens a short story competition open to all Montenegrin citizens. The idea is to promote and animate prosaic literary creation in the state. Ten best stories as judged by the jury consisting of recognized writers in the state will be published in one book titled PAF – SHORT STORY.
